" The average players will stand up after a while and the losers, will keep lying down on the ground "

Feel like i'm in six feet underground -.-. Too many losing game. I wish I could shout out loud or could do more crazy thing than that to pull me up there.

Thx u for your entry, it's common sense but I know I couldn't learn from avoiding this situation. I have to try, try, and try more.

Imho, by playing blitz one acquires a more relaxed attitude to Go. There are people literally suffering while playing. It should not be like that. And you can even improve your reading - as reading longer ladders in 10s blitz games is - at least to me - still a challenge, though possible.

Don't tell me about blitz games on KGS. If every blitz game I played was like smoking a cigarette I would be dead for a long time already. Every time I tell myself "Let's try to play seriously, take my time, blablabla" I always end up playing a lot of blitz games (usually against weaker players, it's easier since you don't have to think as much as with your own strength players).

You know what, I really think I was better 18 months ago. At that time, I practiced tsumegos, read go books and so on. But after one and a half year of KGS blitz games I just do not think anymore in my games. KGS is good if you want to get weaker in go. I am not sure I can read a ladder correctly anymore. I just play with bad instinct.

Yes, Hikaru no Go is really a great manga. Everytime you think you want to give up playing go for a while, just read one chapter and you already feel better. I read the story completely several times, but I will never get bored.
